What confuses me is that this is a novelty item with characters made up of probably like 50 pixels. There was no story, no good vs. evil, and not a theme song worth whistling. This was the childhood version of Locke putting in "the numbers" before something real bad happened. I'm just shocked at what they can make a movie about. It makes the newly licensed Sims movie seem almost Oscar-worthy in comparison.Kenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00747751824993948425noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22749834.post-36489530703135526302007-06-04T20:43:00.000-07:002007-06-04T20:43:00.000-07:00I agree with Amber. Will they do as well probably not but people just seem to be running out of original ideas as of late.Noxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08167009054671688427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22749834.post-2599168988897232492007-06-01T12:41:00.000-07:002007-06-01T12:41:00.000-07:00In what reality does a ten year old novelty item g...In what reality does a ten year old novelty item get a movie today?

I was going to point out Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as an example, but Wikipedia says 1984, although the previous live action films were between 1990-1993.

Bratz (2001) is also getting their own movie this summer. Are they in or out of fashion nowadays? I'm trying to think of the last time I've seen one.

I think I read that He Man is also getting a movie deal, and of course there's The Transformers. Looks like old toys is the new toys.

On a related topic, I confess to being a Tomagochi mass murderer. I can't even remember how many I've killed, or where I hid the bodies.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
